The comedian Joe Gatto receives major accusations of sexual misconduct as he maintained fame from his Impractical Jokers show. A TikTok user known as @joozyb made public accusations against Gatto for sexual assault which occurred in September 2023 in Milwaukee on March 20, 2025. An accused survivor displayed apparent messages exchanged with Gatto through Instagram before and after his show before showing timestamped photos documenting her exit from his hotel room after leaving the show.
As a response to these claims Gatto stated he had exhibited bad decision-making that led to betraying the trust of his closest loved ones. All who have met me understand completely that assault goes against everything I believe. He expressed his plans to hide from public life to concentrate on developing himself as an individual.
March 23, 2025 brought forward another accusation against Gatto as a former employee presented evidence of his inappropriate actions. She reported that after she reached the age of eighteen Gatto started behaving inappropriately towards her by becoming flirty while similar incidents amounted to sexual harassment in her eyes. The woman stated that she suffered from unsolicited physical touching and forced back massages as well as sexual remarks from Gatto. Her statement included a situation where Gatto took hold of her upper thigh when they were alone in a hotel elevator during professional travel.
Gatto left "Impractical Jokers" in 2021 following his exit due to personal life matters but faced allegations that surfaced afterward. Both Gatto and Bessy resolved their amicable separation of 2021 and got back together in 2023.
